AMPERTEC^® Molybdenum Pentachloride is a highly reactive molybdenum compound. This property is utilized in various applications such as coatings, catalytic processes, and doping.

Our Molybdenum Pentachloride is a fine powder that can be used for the synthesis of a variety of Mo compounds.

The high reactivity and absence of oxygen in AMPERTEC^® Molybdenum Pentachloride are advantageous for the synthesis of alkoxides and, for example, amides. The alkoxides are candidates for large-area sol-gel coatings for optical applications and the amides for ALD/CVD precursors (atomic layer deposition/chemical vapor deposition) for the manufacturing of microprocessors and memory chips.
