AMtrinsic^® Ti-Ta

Titanium-tantalum alloys serve various application fields. The most important applications are in the medical aera and in high-temperature shape memory alloys. Ti-Ta alloys provide a combination of high elasticity, good strength, ductility, and excellent biocompatibility for medical implant applications. AMtrinsic^® Spherical Ti-Ta powders enable the manufacturing of patient-specific implant solutions using all common AM technologies. If used in high-temperature shape memory applications, Ti-Ta alloys provide relatively high M_S temperature combined with excellent workability.
